Betty is a TB Mare by Singing in the Rain. As a race horse she was a little tricky but a very consistant prize money earner, during this time Chris formed a special bond that none of us could understant as she really wasn’t the nicest person. He aquired Betty after her racing career with the view of putting her in foal to some nice warmblood stallions but due to her needing a hernia operation first he decided to take her eventing for a whil first.
Her performance career has been no diferent to her racing one she is still extremely difficult however she loves her new career path and is proving her worth and turning heads. 2011 will see Betty embark on a fairly solid competition schedule of eventing, showjumping and a bit of dressage. Chris is already that impressed with her he is talking about embryo transfer so he doesn’t have to stop competing her..Making us all giggle a bit..
