Destiny has been with us for a very long time. Natalie rode her as a race horse and then aquired her when she was finished. Dessy herself was nothing spectacular but her temperament was one in a million, we bred a couple of race horses out of her and she threw such well conformed, good boned, fabulous tempremented horses we decided to put her to a warmblood and the rest is history. Dessy has had her fair share of tradgedies She bowed her tendon whilst racing which ended her career then whilst rehabilitating the tendon she nearly lost a back leg in a bad storm in Victoria whilst away to a piece of roofing iron that blew off a house. She lost her first foal to septicemia at 10 days old just a freak thing, she also lost her first warmblood filly as it was so big it got stuck and we were unable to get it out and she lost twins which played hide and seek on us during the scanning sessions. She also contracted cellulitis in her back leg whilst pregnant with SLH Miracolo and we nearly lost her how Carla survived was an out and out miracle hence the name. The positives she has had 3 exceptional foals 2 x TB both of which could gallop very well but unfortunately EI claimed her daughter Bella who had to be retired due to bleeding internally and a race track claimed her son destroying his suspensory (he is still being rehabed at the moment, Tamika has claimed him for later maybe!) and SLH Miracolo is her other who is exceptional. She is in foal to SLH Alexandre now and will foal at the end of this year with no complications.
