DOB: 15 April 2003

Tamika has shown a very keen interest in horses from a very young age. She started pony club with Camden Haven Pony Club when she was 2 on a very special pony Moonstone Estelle, she enjoyed great success on the lead, unfortunately Stella was riddled with laminitis and Tamika soon started to out ride her, Chris soon found  a 13.2 hh Arab x Stock Horse pony ‘Strathdale Nikita’. Nicki taught Tamika so much including how to ride off the lead and canter. This pony was amazing and we decided to put her in foal to a gorgeous German Riding Pony Tamika had fallen in love with ‘Flowervale Boginov’ motherhood suited Nicki down to the ground but tragically she was bitten by a snake and we found her dead in her paddock only 2mths before she was due to foal in 2009, we were devastated. Choccy had been acquired by Santa thankfully before the tragedy, and Tamika was able to channel her devastation into bonding with her new pony. She has already enjoyed great success in Pony Club, Dressage and in the Hack ring with both Nicki and Choccy but 2011 will definitely be her big year.

Chris has been an extremely influential person in Tamika’s riding career as he has spent many long hours giving her lessons and in her year before she started school she stayed home with Chris and rode Nicki nearly everyday with him whilst he was schooling horses. She now not only enjoys regular tune up lessons from both Chris and Natalie but also has the fortune of regular lessons with Katy Guest each week.

Tamika has an amazing drive, love and passion for her horses and is often seen doing boxes, feed runs and handling the bigger horses and assisting the vets with stitching, treatments and all sorts of things.
